FAQ

How often does your menu change?

In its initial phase, Greenwich Plate is offering a 5-day dinner menu that changes each week throughout the season.  You will find variations and additions throughout the season, some favourites are repeated more often.  Our summer menu offers a small selection of light, tasty salads which are available Monday to Friday.

How do I place an order?

Please send a text message to 0438 102 503 with your meal choice(s) as well as the day and time you would like the delivery (between 5:30-8pm).  Orders for the next day are to be placed by 9pm the night before.  Alternatively you can send an email info@greenwichplate.com.au with all these details but do remember to leave a mobile number.  All orders will be confirmed via email or SMS.

Where do you deliver?

At the moment, we are delivering to our local neighbourhood in Greenwich as well as 2065 and 2066 postcodes.

What is the minimum order?

$20

Do you charge a delivery fee?

No delivery fee.

I live outside of the delivery areas, how can I purchase your meal?

Please contact us for further assistance.

Do I have to be home to take delivery?

Our meals are designed to be enjoyed straight away so ideally you will be home to take delivery.  If the door is unanswered, we will try to make contact with you and leave your delivery at the door.  However, we would advise that our meals be consumed within two hours.

Are your food containers microwave save?

Our off-white coloured food containers and lids are safe to be used in a microwave or oven.  However, the clear PET lid is not suitable for the microwave or oven heating.

Can you make changes to the menu to cater to my dietary needs?

Please call 0438 102 503 to get in contact with us.

Unless special arrangement has been made, while some of our regular dinner meals may be naturally free of gluten, nuts, dairy and/or eggs etc, we cannot guarantee our meals, being made in the same kitchen, are completely free of food allergens.

Where is your food prepared?

All our meals are prepared with love in our newly re-fitted kitchen on Gore Street, Greenwich.

What do you mean by "health-supportive" cooking techniques?

This is a holistic way of looking at food from sourcing fresh, whole, seasonal and chemical-free produce, to combining ingredients in a way that maximises the "health-supportive" (or healing) qualities in those ingredients.

Do you have a licence to operate your food business?

Greenwich Plate satisfies all regulatory requirements for a catering business.  This includes business registration, notification with NSW Food Authority, appointment of a food safety supervisor as well as meeting requirements of the Food Standards Code.  For further information, please contact us directly.

Do you cater for larger groups and parties?

Yes we do!  We offer a range of party platters which are perfect for office parties or small private functions.  To add more variety to your function menu or to take some pressure off cooking for a crowd, get in touch with us!
